About AP
My name is Katerina, and I am a Dyslexia Specialist with a master’s degree in Specific Learning Difficulties (dyslexia) from UCL. Alongside my studies, I actively sought opportunities to gain practical experience in various educational settings, enriching my theoretical background.
Also, I am maintaining active professional memberships with Patoss and the British Dyslexia Association.
Throughout my career, I have worked in different schools and centres, acquiring invaluable knowledge on effectively supporting individuals with learning difficulties.
My experiences have also honed my ability to collaborate with parents, carers, and colleagues to develop tailored approaches for each individual’s needs.
Currently, I work as a study skills tutor at Exeter University, where I provide crucial support and guidance to adults with dyslexia and ADHD, aiding them throughout their academic journey. Moreover, I have been working in a variety of Dyslexia centres around London, as a Dyslexia specialist. My passion for making a positive impact in the lives of those with dyslexia drives me to continuously develop my expertise and remain engaged in the constantly changing field of dyslexia.
